Girl Scout Family Day at Wet 'n' Wild Waterpark

Wet 'n' Wild is back in Las Vegas with more than 25 thrilling slides and attractions! Girl Scout Family Day is a chance to participate in a special activity before it opens for the day and meet some of the staff. Following the tour, adrenaline junkies can enjoy ride experiences like Hoover Half Pipe, which drops you a gut-wrenching 57 feet into a giant half pipe, or the raging Rattler, the only slide of its kind in North America. Those not seeking an adventure can test the waters on the relaxing Colorado Cooler, a 1,000-foot-long winding lazy river; Splash Island, a multi-level interactive children's area with geysers, mini-slides and dumping buckets; and the wave pool, Red Rock Bay.

Daisies will join a worldwide effort to address issues that affect girls and women around the world. Girls will think globally, but act locally with age appropriate activities and discussions that focus on the Millennium Development goal “Helping Children Survive” and "Preventing Diseases.” Fun learning activities include Mosquito Tag and Row, Row, Row your Boat Hand Washing.
Shark Reef Aquarium: An Underwater Adventure

Experience an incredible adventure through North America's only predator based aquarium. Go behind the scenes with an aquarist before the aquarium opens. This journey takes you through a jungle environment into a sunken shipwreck where you will see more than 2,000 animals, many of which are the most dangerous predators found anywhere in the world. Plus, touch stingrays and horseshoe crabs.

Girl Scouts grab you water gun and get ready, aim and squirt! Join us for a COOL morning parade as we participate in the 65th Annual Boulder City Damboree Celebration. The theme is "Be Kind - It Takes All of Us"– so remember that when the famous water battle portion of the parade begins with parade participants and bystanders!
Project Green

Nature's bounty becomes the tool through which girls gain respect towards nature, all while discovering their own artistic natures. The fun starts with creating paper book marks, a telephone with tin cans and string, and a recycling bin. Then, the high action takes over with a recycle relay and nature scavenger hunt.
Seaworld Sleepover

A SeaWorld adventure like no other! You will get to sleep next to sea turtles, alcid penguins or sharks! This overnight trip will have you uncovering the mysteries of all that lives in the ocean as you participate in fun, educational activities. Then on Sunday, enjoy a day of SeaWorld shows, rides, animal attractions and more!
LEGO Robo Girls Day Camp
Date: August 13-15, 2013

Girls will be introduced to the world of robotics by exploring basic program maneuvers when they design and program a LEGO robot! Throughout the week, girls will complete on various missions from the FIRST Green City Challenge. They will solve real-life engineering problems, each environmentally focused. On the last day it’s a pizza party to showcase newly learned robot skills in a mini-competition.
